Business Intelligence Developer

Job Summary

To support the Homeland Security Team, the full-time Business Intelligence Developer will design, build, and maintain Power BI dashboards, integrating operational and financial data to provide actionable insights for stakeholders in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities:

• Build, maintain, and automate dashboards, reports, and data models using Power BI and other visualization tools
• Design, build, and maintain data ETL pipelines from sources such as SQL databases, SharePoint, and Excel
• Collaborate with clients and technical resources to understand and integrate business requirements into effective data visualizations

Required qualifications:

• At least 4 years of experience working with large datasets in a Data Visualization tool like Power BI, Tableau, or Qlik
• Advanced understanding of SQL including query optimization and complex joins for deep-dive analysis
• Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field preferred
• U.S. citizenship with the ability to pass a background investigation; DHS clearance with CBP or ICE preferred
• Experience developing in Python (Pandas) for data analysis is preferred
