Business Intelligence Engineer

Job Summary

To support a growing analytics team, the full-time Business Intelligence Engineer will design and maintain data models, manage the QuickSight environment, and ensure data quality for critical business insights, all while working remotely from anywhere in the U.S.

Key responsibilities:

• Design and maintain dbt models that encode business logic and metric definitions for BI reports
• Own the QuickSight environment, including data source connections, refresh schedules, and access controls
• Ensure data quality and model accuracy for analytics agents, building validation checks and monitoring systems

Required qualifications:

• 4+ years of experience in data engineering, analytics engineering, or BI architecture
• Deep SQL proficiency with the ability to write complex queries and think in terms of data models
• Strong experience with dbt, including building models and managing the DAG
• Hands-on experience with Amazon QuickSight or a comparable BI platform
• Familiarity with LLM-assisted BI tools and AI-native data products
