Business Intelligence Engineer
Job Summary
To support a client's modernization efforts, the temporary remote Business Intelligence Engineer will lead the transition of existing reporting solutions to updated data sources and platforms, leveraging advanced Power BI and SQL expertise to deliver actionable intelligence.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the migration of reporting solutions to new data sources, ensuring enhanced functionality and seamless transitions
- Architect and develop sophisticated Power BI solutions, including data modeling and report/dashboard design
- Collaborate with stakeholders to analyze and improve existing reporting logic within Power BI or Paginated Reports
Required Qualifications
- 5 or more years of hands-on experience developing Power BI solutions, including data modeling and DAX measure creation
- Advanced experience in converting or rebuilding SSRS reports into Power BI or Paginated Reports
- Proven expertise in T-SQL for validating data sources and rebuilding complex queries
- Proficiency in Power Query (M) for data shaping and transformation
- Strong understanding of dataset architecture and performance optimization
