Business Intelligence Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Business Intelligence Specialist to manage their Looker-based BI environment and analytics reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day support and maintenance for the Looker BI environment, ensuring reliability and performance
• Develop and maintain LookML models, Explores, and dashboards based on business needs, while troubleshooting production issues
• Review and recommend improvements to data model architecture and establish metric governance

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on experience with Looker (LookML, Explores, dashboards)
• Strong knowledge of data modeling (star schema, snowflake, denormalized models)
• Advanced SQL skills for analytical querying
• Experience with cloud data warehouses (e.g., BigQuery, Redshift)
• Solid understanding of BI governance and best practices
