Job Summary

Managing business operations within the Biomedical and Diagnostic Sciences department, the full-time Business Manager, TN Licensed will oversee financial, budgetary, and administrative functions while ensuring compliance with policies and procedures, with a hybrid onsite and remote work schedule available.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and approve business, financial, and budget operations for the department
• Ensure compliance with financial, human resources, and grant administration policies
• Provide advanced accounting and budgeting support to departmental staff

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related business field
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in financial accounting and management
• Ability to manage departmental budgets from both unrestricted and restricted funding sources
• Advanced knowledge of university fiscal and human resource policies
• Experience with institutional electronic information systems related to grants and contracts
