Job Summary
Supporting a growing government contracting company, the full-time Business Operations Specialist will manage finance administration, compliance activities, and internal processes while primarily working remotely but must be available for occasional in-person meetings in the Northern Virginia/Washington, DC Metro Area.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain contract-related documentation and assist with compliance activities to ensure alignment with regulatory requirements
- Coordinate internal business operations and support recruiting and people operations activities, including onboarding and employee documentation
- Track internal projects and team initiatives, ensuring organization and alignment on priorities
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations, Human Resources, Finance, Accounting, Public Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of experience in business operations, government contracting, finance, compliance, or a related operational function
- Familiarity with contract administration and compliance tracking
- Experience supporting administrative finance functions such as invoicing and expense reimbursements
- Ability to handle sensitive business information with discretion and professionalism
