Business Operations Specialist

Job Summary

Supporting and optimizing Merchant Services operations, the full-time remote Business Operations Specialist will manage transactional data analysis, oversee merchant onboarding processes, and drive operational efficiencies while collaborating cross-functionally to enhance payment workflows.

Key responsibilities

• Lead comprehensive reconciliations of merchant services activity, analyzing trends and resolving discrepancies
• Oversee and streamline merchant onboarding processes to ensure compliance and efficiency
• Analyze transaction data to provide insights for operational decision-making and process improvements

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, finance, or a related field preferred; equivalent work experience may be considered
• 2-4 years of experience in merchant services, payments, banking operations, or reconciliations required
• Hands-on experience with payment platforms and merchant processors required
• Experience with reconciliations and exception research required
• Familiarity with chargeback management and financial systems is a plus
