Business Process Consultant

Job Summary

Working remotely as a contractor, the Business Process Consultant will analyze, design, and optimize IT operational processes while partnering with IT leadership and business stakeholders to enhance service delivery and operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Assess current-state IT operational processes to identify inefficiencies and improvement opportunities
• Lead process discovery sessions and develop standardized, measurable workflows aligned with business priorities
• Act as a liaison between business units and IT operations teams to translate business requirements into actionable process improvements

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in business process consulting, IT operations, or IT service management
• Strong knowledge of IT frameworks such as ITIL, COBIT, or Lean Six Sigma
• Experience with process mapping, documentation, and workflow design tools
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional workshops and drive process improvement initiatives
