Business Process Engineer

Job Summary

To support US Southern Command under the Enhanced Domain Awareness contract, the part-time Business Process Engineer will analyze, design, and implement business processes to enhance operational efficiency and compliance while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze and improve business processes to increase operational efficiency and reduce costs
• Develop process improvement strategies using data analysis and continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean or Six Sigma
• Document standard operating procedures and monitor process performance metrics to ensure compliance with company policies

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, Information Systems, Management, or a related field, or a minimum of five years of equivalent experience
• 3-5 years of experience in business process improvement, process engineering, or operational excellence roles
• Experience with process mapping, workflow analysis, and continuous improvement methodologies
• Proficiency in business process management tools and data analysis
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
