Job Summary
To support US Southern Command under the Enhanced Domain Awareness contract, the part-time Business Process Engineer will analyze, design, and implement business processes to enhance operational efficiency and compliance while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Analyze and improve business processes to increase operational efficiency and reduce costs
- Develop process improvement strategies using data analysis and continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean or Six Sigma
- Document standard operating procedures and monitor process performance metrics to ensure compliance with company policies
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, Information Systems, Management, or a related field, or a minimum of five years of equivalent experience
- 3-5 years of experience in business process improvement, process engineering, or operational excellence roles
- Experience with process mapping, workflow analysis, and continuous improvement methodologies
- Proficiency in business process management tools and data analysis
- Ability to work with cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
