Business Risk Advisor

Job Summary

Serving as a first line advisor within the Business Risk Group, the remote Director, Business Risk Advisor will provide risk-focused guidance on products, partnerships, and strategic initiatives, collaborating with compliance, legal, and risk teams to ensure informed decision-making while balancing risk and opportunity.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with internal and external stakeholders to assess new products and deliver risk and regulatory guidance that supports innovation
• Advise leadership on complex risk and regulatory matters, providing practical solutions that balance innovation and risk management
• Interpret regulatory requirements and translate them into actionable business and risk requirements, presenting findings to senior leadership and stakeholders

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and work experience; Master's degree preferred
• Minimum of 12 years of related experience
• Strong organizational skills
• Ability to leverage data and analytical methodologies for decision-making
• Experience in interpreting laws and regulations related to financial services
