Business Systems Analyst

Job Summary

Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Business Systems Analyst will collaborate with IT staff and business partners to implement and enhance Life products within Sales Illustration and Policy Administration systems while managing complex analyses, system configurations, and providing training and support.

Key responsibilities:

• Ensure quality assurance and testing of complex products to meet customer requirements through standard methodologies
• Develop comprehensive business requirements and translate end-user needs into system modifications and procedural changes
• Diagnose and manage software defects, providing support and training for end-users on system functionalities

Required qualifications:

• Typically, 2+ years of relevant work or technical experience
• Post-secondary degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Statistics, or Applied Mathematics, or equivalent experience in a technical field or the life insurance industry
• Preferred experience in life policy administration or financial systems
• Ability to comprehend and analyze complex life product specifications and calculations
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and formulas
