Business Systems Analyst

Job Summary

To enhance healthcare business management initiatives, the hybrid remote Business Systems Analyst will assist in analyzing, designing, and implementing automated systems, while providing application support and project management for system improvements.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze business functions and gather information to determine operational objectives and system requirements
• Assist in designing new computer programs by constructing workflow charts, writing specifications, and evaluating system capabilities
• Monitor project progress and resolve issues while maintaining user documentation and providing help desk support

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Health Information Systems or a related field, or equivalent work experience
• Experience in planning, designing, and implementing Business Information Systems applications
• Strong analytical skills for translating system setups and procedures into effective business information systems
• Knowledge of HIPAA laws related to confidentiality of protected health information
• Ability to collaborate effectively within teams and ensure high customer satisfaction
