Business Systems Analyst

Job Summary

Acting as the primary liaison between business users and IT project teams, the full-time Business Systems Analyst will manage functional requirements for portfolio projects, ensuring that internal and external customers receive expected business value while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Develop functional requirements and design documentation during project discovery and execution
• Facilitate functional requirements walkthroughs and manage user expectations and scope changes
• Collaborate with Project Manager and IT teams to ensure compliance with the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC)

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent work experience
• 4+ years of business systems analysis experience or comparable business experience
• Minimum 2 years of analytical experience
• 3 years of experience documenting business processes, including creating flow charts and process diagrams
• Firm understanding of both Waterfall and Agile project management methodologies
