Business Systems Analyst

Job Summary

Working remotely on a full-time basis, the Business Systems Analyst will interpret business and mission requirements, translate them into clear functional specifications, and provide continuous support to the development team throughout the Agile delivery cycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Translate business and mission needs into validated functional requirements for the development team
• Decompose high-level requirements into actionable user stories and detailed specifications
• Support the development team during sprints by resolving requirements questions in real time

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 4 additional years of equivalent education and experience
• 2-4 years of experience in business analysis or systems analysis supporting software delivery
• Proven ability to document functional and business requirements effectively
• Experience in translating high-level needs into user stories and acceptance criteria
• Ability to validate delivered functionality against requirements through testing
