Business Systems Analyst

Job Summary

Working remotely in California, the full-time salaried Business Systems Analyst II will engage with various business units to translate needs into software solutions, oversee the Software Development Lifecycle, and provide operational support for enterprise-wide applications.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the Software Development Lifecycle by analyzing and documenting business unit needs and creating detailed specifications
• Collaborate with product owners to create user stories and manage the product backlog using Agile practices
• Provide Tier 2 application support, troubleshoot issues, and ensure timely resolution of internal tickets for managed software solutions

Required qualifications

• Minimum two-year degree in Information Technology, Project Management, or Business Administration, or equivalent work experience; Bachelor's degree preferred
• Four or more years of experience in financial or health services with a focus on technical business analysis and process improvement
• Experience working in an Agile environment or Azure ecosystem (DevOps) strongly desired
• Knowledge of financial industry concepts and existing Credit Union products and services
• Proven ability to analyze and document complex technical business processes
