Business Systems Analyst

Job Summary

To support the Division of Extended Studies, the full-time Business Systems Analyst will manage system maintenance activities, respond to user requests, and develop automated solutions while working remotely from approved states.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in software testing, analyze results, and recommend improvements to ensure optimal functionality
• Analyze application systems and maintain development environments, assisting in diagnosing production issues
• Facilitate discovery sessions with stakeholders to document workflows and identify process improvement opportunities

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree and 2 years of relevant experience, or equivalent professional experience
• Experience in functional requirements gathering and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) within a higher education or enterprise software environment
• Proficiency in configuring and managing low-code/no-code platforms or enterprise student systems
• Experience in documenting complex business processes for multi-departmental stakeholders
• Ability to develop technical documentation such as job recovery procedures or IT standards
