Business Systems Analyst

Job Summary

Gathering and documenting business requirements and systems design, the full-time Project Business Systems Analyst will lead small to medium-sized systems projects while working remotely and performing analysis throughout the software development lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Perform best practice requirements engineering for all aspects of SDLC activities, including eliciting, analyzing, and prioritizing functional and non-functional requirements
• Collaborate with project teams to define and document functional specification requirements and approve acceptance criteria for system enhancements
• Develop and document test plans, conduct system testing, and perform post-implementation quality assurance and troubleshooting

Required qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in analysis, either technical or business related
• Proven skills in critical thinking, time management, and procedural and technical writing
• Ability to facilitate large and small group meetings or working sessions
• Experience with SQL statements and a commitment to acquiring SQL skills
• Ability to work effectively within a project team and manage multiple assignments simultaneously
