Business Systems Analyst
Job Summary
To support a multi-year digital transformation initiative, the contract Business Systems Analyst will work remotely, focusing on defining and documenting business and technical requirements for digital analytics, data layer architecture, and performance reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead requirements discovery across business stakeholders and engineering teams, translating business goals into structured epics and user stories
- Partner with Analytics and MarTech teams to define tracking frameworks and document tagging specifications and measurement governance
- Collaborate with front-end engineering to ensure accurate data layer variables and tracking methods are embedded in development specifications
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst or similar role supporting digital delivery initiatives
- Hands-on experience authoring structured user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional specifications
- Proven experience with digital analytics, website tagging, and tag management systems
- Deep understanding of digital conversion tracking and performance measurement frameworks
- Practical experience operating in Agile or SAFe environments with modern delivery tools
