Business Systems Specialist

Job Summary

Leading complex business systems initiatives, the full-time Business Systems Specialist will serve as a subject matter expert for Premium Accounting operations, focusing on analysis, solution definition, and delivery outcomes while working remotely.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the analysis and definition of complex business and system requirements for cross-functional initiatives impacting Premium Accounting
• Translate business needs into comprehensive functional designs, user stories, and data requirements to support scalable solutions
• Own requirements and functional design artifacts throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), ensuring clarity and alignment from discovery through implementation

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Business, Information Systems, Information Technology, or a related discipline
• 7-9 years of experience in business systems analysis or a related discipline
• Demonstrated experience leading complex, multi-system or cross-functional initiatives
• Strong exposure to financial, accounting, insurance, or transaction-based operational systems preferred
• Relevant certifications such as CBAP, CCBA, or PMP strongly preferred
