Business Unit Controller

Job Summary

To support the Americas Advanced Materials team, the remote Business Unit Controller will manage all financial and accounting functions, including budgeting, financial reporting, and cost accounting, while collaborating with central finance and commercial teams.

Key responsibilities

• Perform all accounting functions, including general accounting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and cost accounting
• Gather and analyze financial data to provide insights and support decision-making for the business unit
• Prepare the Annual Operating Plan and conduct monthly close activities, including journal entries and variance reporting

Required qualifications

• B.S. in Accounting or Finance
• 4 - 7 years of experience in Accounting/Finance within an import/export or manufacturing environment
• Proficient in MS Office and experienced with SAP
• Knowledge of management accounting and inventory systems
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to apply GAAP
