Job Summary

A company is looking for a Buyer I to coordinate and execute the planning, procurement, and distribution of purchased finished goods.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze purchase requisitions against inventory targets and manage the Purchase Order release process
• Resolve vendor issues related to sourcing, pricing, and service while maintaining timely order control
• Communicate vendor backorder issues and assist in managing product allocations

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or relevant experience in lieu of a degree
• Intermediate level skills in Microsoft Word and Excel
• Ability to calculate figures such as discounts and percentages
• Ability to apply basic algebra and statistics in data interpretation
• At least 2 years of related experience preferred
