Buyer II
Job Summary
To support new product development initiatives, the full-time Buyer II will manage procurement activities, including sourcing, negotiations, and supplier relationship management, while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Represent NPI Procurement within interdisciplinary teams during the development process of new products
- Track and create RFQs and bidding overviews for New Product Development projects
- Perform sourcing activities and negotiations with suppliers to ensure project milestones are met
Required qualifications
- BSc or Master's degree in Engineering from an accredited institution
- 1 to 3 years of experience in Procurement, Process Engineering, or Manufacturing
- Fluency in English at a negotiation level; additional languages are a plus
- Strong knowledge of SAP PR2 and MS Office tools, especially Excel
- Basic understanding of various manufacturing processes such as molding, stamping, and assembly
