Buyer/Planner IV

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Buyer/Planner IV to oversee purchasing and supplier relationships for manufacturing and new product introductions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage supplier relationships and oversee purchasing processes, including securing quotes and negotiating terms
• Utilize SAP for data maintenance, analysis, and reporting, ensuring accuracy in materials data
• Participate in the development of strategic supplier contracts and monitor supplier performance to ensure compliance

Required Qualifications:

• BS/BA in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Materials Management, Engineering, or Technical Studies
• 10+ years of experience in direct/manufacturing materials, purchasing, or supply chain with negotiating responsibility
• Minimum 5 years of experience using SAP Materials Module and electronic Document Control Systems
• In-depth understanding of current trends, markets, and price indexing
• Advanced knowledge of Domestic and International suppliers
