Buyer, Supply Chain Operations

Job Summary

Seeking a full-time remote Buyer, Supply Chain Operations who will manage purchasing of commodity products, chemicals, equipment, and supplies, while overseeing daily purchase order management and resolving complex supply chain issues.

Key responsibilities:

• Own and resolve daily tactical supply chain issues, including backorder resolution and lead time management
• Support new stocking requests, product launches, and inventory optimization strategies
• Act as a liaison between Sales, Customer Service, Warehouse, and Suppliers to address supply chain constraints

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Business, or Mathematics; MBA is a plus
• 2-5+ years of experience in a procurement capacity
• APICS/CPIM certification desirable
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite, particularly Excel, with strong analytical skills
• Formal problem-solving training, such as Six Sigma, is highly desirable
