C/C++ Consultant

Job Summary

To support the design and development of high-performance software systems, an experienced C/C++ Consultant will work remotely on a contract basis, focusing on optimizing and maintaining applications while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Key responsibilities:

• Design, develop, test, and maintain applications and system components using C and C++
• Analyze existing codebases to identify improvements in performance, reliability, and maintainability
• Collaborate with architects and engineering teams on system design and technical decisions

Required qualifications:

• Strong professional experience developing in C and/or C++
• Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented design
• Experience working with Linux or UNIX-based systems
• Proficiency in debugging tools and techniques (e.g., GDB, Valgrind)
• Experience with multithreading, synchronization, and memory management
