C#/.Net Developer

Job Summary

To support the Veterans Affairs department, the full-time remote C#/.Net Developer will perform technical planning, software system integration, and development tasks, utilizing full-stack expertise in .Net applications and Agile methodologies.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct technical planning, requirements definition, and software systems integration while participating in daily stand-ups
• Develop back-end applications using C# and .Net Core, ensuring application performance and quality through testing and deployment practices
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather project requirements and document software designs, promoting good software engineering practices

Required qualifications

• Expertise in .Net framework and .Net Core with strong knowledge of C#
• Proficiency in developing applications using MVC architecture and RESTful APIs
• Experience with SQL Server, Entity Framework, and cloud platforms like Microsoft Azure
• Familiarity with CI/CD practices and version control systems such as GIT
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, with relevant experience in software development
