C#/.Net Developer

Job Summary

To support the Veterans Affairs department, the full-time remote C#/.Net Developer - II will perform technical planning, software systems integration, and development of .Net back-end applications while collaborating with team members in an Agile environment.

Key responsibilities

• Perform technical planning and detailed requirements definition for software systems and subsystems
• Utilize full-stack development expertise to ensure application performance, quality, and responsiveness
• Document software designs and collaborate with stakeholders to gather project requirements

Required qualifications

• Expertise in .Net framework, .Net Core, and C# with a strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP)
• Proficiency in developing back-end applications using MVC architecture and RESTful APIs
• Experience with database design and development, including SQL Server and Entity Framework
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure and AWS
• Five or more years of experience in software development using .Net technologies
