C#/.Net Developer

Job Summary

To support the Veterans Affairs department, the full-time remote C#/.Net Developer - II will perform technical planning, software systems integration, and development support while utilizing full-stack development expertise in .Net applications.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct high-level and detailed requirements definition, test planning, and execution for software systems
• Develop back-end applications using C# and .Net Core, ensuring performance and quality through testing and CI/CD practices
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather project requirements and document software designs

Required qualifications

• Expertise in .Net framework and .Net Core, with strong knowledge of C# and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP)
• Proficiency in developing applications using MVC architecture and working with RESTful APIs
• Experience with database design and development, specifically SQL Server and Entity Framework
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure and AWS
• Five or more years of experience in software development using .Net technologies
