C#/.Net Developer

Job Summary

To support Veterans Affairs initiatives, the full-time C#/.Net Developer - II will perform technical planning, software development, and integration, utilizing full-stack development expertise in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct technical planning, requirements definition, and software systems integration while participating in daily stand-ups
• Develop and maintain .Net back-end applications, ensuring application performance, quality, and responsiveness
• Document software designs and collaborate with stakeholders to gather project requirements and implement Agile practices

Required qualifications

• Five or more years of experience in software development using .Net technologies
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, or a related technical discipline
• Expertise in .Net framework and .Net Core, with strong knowledge of C# and Object-Oriented Programming
• Proficiency in developing back-end applications using MVC architecture and experience with RESTful APIs
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure and AWS, along with CI/CD practices and tools
