C#/.Net Developer

Job Summary

To support the Veterans Affairs department, the full-time remote C#/.Net Developer - II will perform technical planning, software systems integration, and development support while utilizing full-stack development expertise in .Net and C#.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct technical planning and detailed requirements definition, including test planning and execution
• Develop and maintain back-end applications using .Net framework and MVC architecture while ensuring application performance and quality
• Collaborate with stakeholders and the software development team to implement long-term solutions within an Agile framework

Required qualifications

• Five or more years of experience in software development using .Net technologies
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, or a related technical discipline
• Strong expertise in C#, .Net Core, and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles
• Proficiency in database design and development, particularly with SQL Server and Entity Framework
• Familiarity with CI/CD practices and tools, as well as cloud platforms like Microsoft Azure or AWS
