C#/.Net Developer

Job Summary

To support Veterans Affairs initiatives, the full-time remote C#/.Net Developer - II will perform technical planning, software system integration, and development tasks, utilizing expertise in .Net framework and C# to deliver high-quality applications.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct technical planning and requirements definition, including test planning and execution for software systems
• Develop and maintain back-end applications using C# and .Net Core, implementing CI/CD practices for deployment
• Collaborate with stakeholders and team members to document software designs and ensure application performance and quality

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, or a related technical discipline with at least five years of experience in .Net development
• Strong expertise in .Net framework, C#, MVC architecture, and RESTful APIs
• Proficiency in database design and development with SQL Server and Entity Framework
• Experience with version control systems such as GIT and CI/CD tools
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and cloud platforms like Microsoft Azure or AWS
