C#/.Net Developer

Job Summary

To support the Veterans Affairs department, the full-time remote C#/.Net Developer - II will perform technical planning, software systems integration, and provide development support while utilizing full-stack development expertise in .Net and C#.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct technical planning and detailed requirements definition for software systems, including test planning and execution
• Develop back-end applications using C# and .Net Core, ensuring application performance, quality, and responsiveness
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather project requirements and document software designs

Required qualifications

• Five or more years of experience in software development using .Net technologies
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience
• Expertise in .Net framework and .Net Core, with strong knowledge of C# and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP)
• Proficiency in developing applications using Model-View-Controller (MVC) architecture and RESTful APIs
• Experience with CI/CD practices and tools, as well as version control systems like GIT
