C#/.Net Developer

Job Summary

To support Veterans Affairs initiatives, the full-time remote C#/.Net Developer - II will perform technical planning, software systems integration, and development support while utilizing full-stack expertise in .Net and C#.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct technical planning and detailed requirements definition for software systems
• Develop back-end applications using .Net Core and MVC architecture, ensuring quality and performance
• Collaborate with stakeholders and team members to implement Agile practices and improve software engineering processes

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, with a minimum of five years of experience in software development using .Net technologies
• Strong expertise in .Net framework and .Net Core, with proficiency in C# and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP)
• Experience with RESTful APIs, SQL Server, and Entity Framework for database design and development
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure or AWS, and CI/CD practices
• Knowledge of unit testing frameworks and tools, as well as Agile development methodologies
