C#/.Net Developer

Job Summary

To support the Veterans Affairs department, the full-time remote C#/.Net Developer - II will perform technical planning, software systems integration, and development of .Net back-end applications using C#, while ensuring application performance and quality.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct technical planning and detailed requirements definition, including software systems integration and support
• Develop back-end applications using .Net Core and MVC architecture, while participating in Agile development practices
• Document software designs and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, with at least five years of experience in software development using .Net technologies
• Expertise in .Net framework and .Net Core, with strong knowledge of C# and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP)
• Proficiency in database design and development, including SQL Server and Entity Framework
• Experience with RESTful APIs, CI/CD practices, and version control systems like GIT
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure or AWS
