C#/.Net Developer II

Job Summary

To support the Veterans Affairs department, the full-time remote C#/.Net Developer II will perform technical planning, develop back-end applications using C#, and participate in Agile software development processes while ensuring application performance and quality.

Key responsibilities

• Perform technical planning and software systems integration, including requirements definition and test planning
• Utilize full-stack development expertise to develop and maintain .Net applications, ensuring quality and responsiveness
• Collaborate with stakeholders and team members to gather project requirements and implement long-term solutions

Required qualifications

• Expertise in .Net framework and .Net Core, with strong knowledge of C# and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP)
• Experience in developing applications using Model-View-Controller (MVC) architecture and RESTful APIs
• Proficiency in database design and development, including SQL Server and Entity Framework
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure and AWS
• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field with five or more years of relevant experience
