C#/.Net Developer II

Job Summary

To support the Veterans Affairs department, the full-time C#/.Net Developer II will perform technical planning, software systems integration, and development of .Net back-end applications using C#, while working remotely in a role that requires a Public Trust security clearance.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct technical planning and detailed requirements definition, including test planning and execution
• Develop and maintain back-end applications utilizing .Net framework and MVC architecture, ensuring application performance and quality
• Collaborate with stakeholders and team members to document software designs and implement Agile practices for improved reusability

Required qualifications

• Five or more years of experience in software development using .Net technologies
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, or related technical discipline
• Expertise in .Net framework, C#, and back-end application development
• Proficiency in database design and development, including SQL Server and Entity Framework
• Familiarity with CI/CD practices and tools, as well as Agile development methodologies
