C#/.Net Developer II

Job Summary

To support the Veterans Affairs department, the full-time remote C#/.Net Developer II will perform technical planning, software systems integration, and back-end application development using C# and .Net technologies while ensuring application performance and quality.

Key responsibilities

• Manage technical planning and execution of software systems, including requirements definition and testing
• Develop back-end applications using .Net Core and MVC architecture, and implement CI/CD practices
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather project requirements and document software designs

Required qualifications

• Five or more years of experience in software development using .Net technologies
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, or a related technical discipline
• Expertise in .Net framework and C#, with strong knowledge of OOP and design patterns
• Proficiency in database design and development, including SQL Server and Entity Framework
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure and AWS
