C#/.Net Developer II

Job Summary

To support Veterans Affairs initiatives, the full-time remote C#/.Net Developer II will perform technical planning, software development, and integration tasks while collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure application performance and quality.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct technical planning, requirements definition, and software systems integration
• Develop and maintain .Net back-end applications using C#, including unit testing and CI/CD deployment
• Document software designs and collaborate with stakeholders to gather project requirements

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, or a related field with at least five years of experience in .Net development
• Expertise in .Net framework and .Net Core, with strong knowledge of C# and MVC architecture
• Proficiency in database design and development, including SQL Server and Entity Framework
• Experience with RESTful APIs, CI/CD practices, and version control systems like GIT
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure
