C#/.Net Developer II

Job Summary

Seeking an experienced C#/.Net Developer II for a full-time remote position focused on performing technical planning, software systems integration, and providing development support within the Veterans Affairs department.

Key responsibilities

• Manage software system product services, including design, testing, installation, and maintenance
• Utilize full-stack development expertise to create .Net back-end applications and ensure application performance and quality
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define project requirements and participate actively in the software development team

Required qualifications

• Expertise in .Net framework and .Net Core with strong C# skills
• Proficiency in developing back-end applications using MVC architecture and RESTful APIs
• Experience with database design and development, particularly with SQL Server and Entity Framework
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure and AWS
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field with at least five years of experience in software development
