C#/.Net Developer II

Job Summary

To support the Veterans Affairs department, the full-time remote C#/.Net Developer II will perform technical planning, software systems integration, and development support, utilizing full-stack expertise in .Net and C# while collaborating with the software development team.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct technical planning and requirements definition, including test planning and execution
• Develop and maintain back-end applications using C# and .Net Core, ensuring application performance and quality
• Document software designs and collaborate with stakeholders to gather project requirements

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, or a related field, with five or more years of experience in software development using .Net technologies
• Expertise in .Net framework and .Net Core, with strong proficiency in C# and MVC architecture
• Experience with RESTful APIs, SQL Server, and Entity Framework for database design and development
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure and AWS, as well as CI/CD practices
• Knowledge of unit testing frameworks and tools, including NUnit or xUnit
