Job Summary
A company is seeking a Part Time Psychiatrist (1099 Contractor) to provide virtual psychiatric care as part of a multidisciplinary team, requiring licensure in CA and preferably in TX.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, innovative tele-psychiatry services over a HIPAA-compliant video platform
- Complete, sign, and lock clinical case notes within 24 hours of each session
- Collaborate with a care team including mental health coaches, therapists, and psychiatric nurse practitioners, and participate in team meetings and consultation groups
Required Qualifications and Education
- MD with completion of an accredited psychiatry residency - BE/BC
- Must have a license to practice psychiatry, with licensure in CA and preferably TX
- 3+ years of experience providing clinical psychiatry services
- Experience with tele-psychiatry and willingness to integrate technology into care
- Competence in psychopharmacology and evidence-based practices such as CBT, DBT, ACT, and Mindfulness
