Cabinet Design Engineer
Job Summary
A company is looking for a Cabinet Design Engineer - Remote.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the mechanical hardware design and delivery of instrumentation and control cabinets for nuclear power plants
- Collaborate with system and electrical hardware engineers to model systems and generate electromechanical drawings
- Test mechanical hardware prototypes and assist in the development of the Maintenance and Troubleshooting Technical Manual
Required Qualifications
- BS in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or related field with 5+ years of experience
- Experience with 3D CAD tools, such as SOLIDWORKS
- Experience in support of manufacturing, including purchasing and quality control
- Experience working on safety-related I&C system development projects is highly desirable
- Experience creating drawing packages for complex assemblies such as I&C cabinets is highly desirable
