Cabinet Design Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Cabinet Design Engineer - Remote.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the mechanical hardware design and delivery of instrumentation and control cabinets for nuclear power plants
• Collaborate with engineers to model systems and generate electromechanical drawings
• Test mechanical hardware prototypes and assist in structural analysis for equipment qualification

Required Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or related field with 5+ years of experience
• Experience with 3D CAD tools, such as SOLIDWORKS
• Experience in support of manufacturing processes including purchasing and quality control
• Experience in safety-related I&C system development projects is highly desirable
• Experience creating drawing packages for large, complex assemblies is highly desirable
