CAC ID Card Specialist

Job Summary

To support the Department of Defense, the fully remote CAC ID Card Specialist will verify eligibility, process documents, and issue military and civilian ID cards while ensuring compliance with administrative procedures.

Key responsibilities

• Verify eligibility and process documents for military and civilian ID cards
• Manage and oversee contractors assigned to the project, ensuring adherence to procedures
• Provide monthly reports on contractor activity and meet regularly with the Contracting Officer Representative (COR)

Required qualifications

• Must be a U.S. citizen and eligible for security clearance
• Experience with DEERS/RAPIDS systems
• Prior experience in a military or defense-related role is preferred
• Strong understanding of administrative and security protocols
• Ability to manage contractor oversight and reporting effectively
