Cache Developer

Job Summary

Working remotely on a contract basis, the Cache Developer will focus on the development and support of lab and billing systems using Intersystems Cache/IRIS technology, participating in the full software development lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and support the Antrim lab system and billing system, ensuring application upgrades to new platforms
• Participate in design, implementation, testing, and launching of applications, including performing code reviews
• Prepare and test operational instructions, while providing suggestions for enhancements and tracking project status

Required qualifications

• BA/BS degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience with a focus on application programming and systems development
• 8+ years of experience as a software developer using Intersystems Cache technology
• Extensive knowledge of Intersystems Cache & IRIS platform, including MUMPS/DSM
• Experience with Cache Server Pages, Javascript, CSS, and web application development
• Proficiency in SQL, XML/XSLT, and Linux/Unix shell scripting
