Cache Developer

Job Summary

To support the development and maintenance of lab and billing systems, the remote Cache Developer will engage in the full software development life cycle (SDLC), focusing on application upgrades, code reviews, and testing while utilizing InterSystems Cache technology.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and support the Antrim-based lab information system (LIS) and billing system using InterSystems Cache/IRIS technology
• Participate in application upgrades and perform design and code review activities with the team
• Develop and execute unit, integration, and user-acceptance test plans while communicating project status to management

Required qualifications

• BA/BS degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience with a focus on application programming and systems analysis
• 8+ years of software development experience using InterSystems Cache technology
• Extensive knowledge of InterSystems Cache & IRIS platform, MUMPS/DSM, and Antrim LAB and FIN systems
• Proficiency in Cache Server Pages, JavaScript, CSS, SQL, and Cache Object Script
• Experience with Linux/Unix, Shell scripting, and HL7/ICD-10 standards
