CAD/BIM Operator

Job Summary

Seeking a full-time, results-driven CAD/BIM Operator to prepare system installation drawings from engineered documentation for construction or permits while working remotely and managing various BIM modeling software and tasks.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare security systems installation drawings from AutoCAD/REVIT files and manage 3D models for design coordination
• Conduct clash detection to assist project teams and update drawings as change orders are released by the customer
• Assemble drawing package sets and maintain project folders, ensuring quality and accuracy in all deliverables

Required qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of seven years of AutoCAD/BIM experience and five years in the electronic security industry
• Computer-Aided Drafting Certificate and Revit for Architectural Design Professional Certification required
• Advanced skills in reading architectural and electrical layouts and diagrams
• Associate of Applied Science Degree (A.A.S) preferred
