CAD Design Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a CAD Design Engineer (Project-based).

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, maintain, and update detailed design documentation for audiovisual and systems integration projects
• Develop and revise CAD drawings, including schematics, room layouts, and signal formats
• Collaborate with project teams to ensure design alignment and address design-related questions throughout the project lifecycle

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Drafting, Design, or a related technical field, or equivalent professional experience
• Minimum of three (3) years of experience producing CAD drawings for AV, low-voltage, or systems integration projects
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and related documentation tools
• Working knowledge of AV systems, signal flow, and structured cabling infrastructure preferred
• Familiarity with construction and installation documentation standards is a plus
