CAD Drafter

Job Summary

A company is looking for a CAD Drafter (Engineering Assistant).

Key Responsibilities

• Create technical drawings for Telecom engineering, including permits, construction, and fiber design in primarily 2D
• Interpret and utilize field notes, surveys, utility records, and maps to draw and label plans
• Identify and resolve problems and inconsistencies to meet the needs of internal and external stakeholders

Required Qualifications

• Strong computer skills on a Windows/PC platform, including Microsoft Office products
• Ability to learn quickly and focus for extended periods
• Must have a high level of initiative and ability to work with limited supervision
• AutoCAD experience preferred but not required
• Science, Technology, Engineering, Math degree preferred but not required
