CAD Drafter

Job Summary

Supporting the Lighting & Technology Design team, the part-time CAD Drafter will develop and maintain accurate CAD drawings, lighting schedules, and specification packages for residential and commercial projects in a hybrid work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and organize CAD drawing packages for Senior Designers
• Update and revise drawings based on feedback from Sales and Project Management teams
• Develop lighting schedules and specification packages while maintaining drawing accuracy

Required qualifications

• Associate's degree in drafting, architecture, design, or a related field required; Bachelor's degree preferred
• 2+ years of AutoCAD or CAD drafting experience in residential or commercial environments preferred
• Familiarity with residential and/or commercial construction documentation preferred
• Basic understanding of lighting design and control systems
• Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and specifications
